New to Unity?
An open letter from Rev James Stacey
Dear friend,
Welcome to the Unity Movement. Unity is a new-thought organization focused on providing positive, practical, and inclusive spiritual insight.

Founded in 1889 by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, Unity was built off of these basic 5 principles:

  1. God is absolute Good and everywhere present.
  2. Human beings have a spark of Divinity within them, the Christ is within. Their essence is of God, and therefore they are inherently good.
  3. Human beings create their experience by the activity of their thinking. Everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thought.
  4. Prayer is creative thinking that heightens the connection with God in Mind and therefore brings forth wisdom, healing, prosperity and everything good.
  5. Knowing and understanding the laws of life – also called Truth- is not enough. A person must also live the Truth he or she knows.

These principles are the foundation of Unity.

What makes us different?
We welcome everybody and we believe that spirituality isn't just a Sunday service affair, it's a process and these lessons are applied day-by-day.

The basic teachings of Unity and the intention behind everything we do at Unity South Twin Cities are the same -- to help each individual awaken to the truth that God, our Creator, is always within us. We are never alone, and we never lack the power to make a difference in this world!

Unity South Twin Cities is here to help you discover, develop, and demonstrate your God-given gifts. You have something wonderful to give this world!

I invite you to participate with us in this embracing, loving, and empowering Unity South ministry.

My encouragement for you is to download "Unity Principles in Real Life: Truths I've Discovered." In this guide, Kelli von Heydekampf walks you through her intimate journey of these principles, and offers some great questions to begin imagining what these principles might mean to you.

We welcome you to the community with open arms.

With love,
Reverend James Stacey
